GGE’s technology sets a model for the circular economy.

The Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) visited the Semisils Applied Materials Corp., Ltd (Semisils) Liu-Ying Demonstration Plant to witness the achievements of high-tech industrial waste recycling and reuse.

In view of the fact that Semisils’s innovative achievements in the field of circular economy are the industry leader. the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) held the 2019 “Circular Economy Observation Conference” at Semisils’s Tainan Headquarters “Circular Economy Standard Demonstration Plant” on August 29, 2019. There are competent authorities and enterprises. Nearly 40 representatives from the industry attended the meeting.

Semisils is committed to the core goal of “based on environmental protection and renewable energy, leaving a piece of pure land for future generations.” The “Circular Economy Standard Demonstration Plant” in Liu-Ying, Tainan was completed this year and has been put into trial operation recently. Chairman Mr. Arthur Ho stated that the plant covers an area of ​​about 2 hectares, and it will be developed with an investment of NT$1.4 billion. It will develop high-value process technology with exclusive innovative technology waste treatment technology, and continue to develop high-end green energy materials and applications. The waste of the technology industry can be recycled and reused in a high-value, resource-based, and harmless manner. Create brand-new regenerative value for the solar module and semiconductor industry, and become a new model of Taiwan’s circular economy.
